Father Samuel?
No. I asked my dad (who attends one of those tiny churches down the bayou)
ETA: he said once a month they have dinner on the grounds. Where the preacher lays out the bills and they all divide them up. They get the word they want to hear and nothing rustles their jimmies

I know, but it's a block from my house in Lakeview. Pay for the convenience l

You're getting ripped off.
Especially for dry cleaner "tailoring"
My tailor is cheaper than my dry cleaner for simple alterations, FWIW.
Now doing stuff I'd never let a dry cleaner do is a different story.

I don't understand how there are multiple mattress stores in every strip mall. How often are people buying mattresses?
It's not how often they are purchased, but the dollars spent per year on average, which is probably what, a couple hundred per year? I'd expect as many mattress stores as shoe stores.

I see a few more travel agencies than one would expect. I'd think that business model would be dead but my 20,000 town in MS has two still in business.

It is a pretty crazy concept. The reason you will see multiple mattress firms in a small town is because they are so cheap to maintain. They essentially use the multiple stores as advertising. Plus the profit margin is ridiculous.

I believe it's called tithing or something. This is why organized religion is stupid.

A lot of things need to change in order for the Pelicans to stay in NOLA long term
No, stupid.
The only way the Pelicans leave New Orleans is a huge freaking scandal that permanently kills the fanbase and/or the city not providing the team with a suitable arena.
That's the list. Those two things.

I had 3 fraudulent charges on my card at a dry cleaners in New Hampshire a couple of months ago. Even criminals use dry cleaning.

This is a good one, you never see a mattress store filled with customers, but there are huge profit margins
Same goes for sex toy stores.

Dry Cleaners.
If you did regular business with them like my wife did up to a couple of years ago you'd understand how they stay in business with the price they charge. She was spending up to $300 a month when the weather warmed up. Business attire can't be washed in a machine.

How does the Ra Shop stay in business?
Most of their products come from China. Their margins are insanely good.

dry cleaners
Family is in the business. Cheap labor. Lots of dry cleaners have contracts as well with hotels, army bases etc.
And dry cleaners that are in the ghetto do well, gotta keep those clothes looking fresh.
