What makes this more fair than the sports example is women are at less of a disadvantage competing against men in the tech workspace than they are at competing against men in sports.

When Lia Thomas lied about being a woman, he was able to use superior strength and ability to defeat other women. When these guys lied, it would require superior intellect to defeat the other women, which is a more fair playing field than using superior strength. You get it now?

She said she suspected that cisgender men may have "finessed" the system by pretending to be non-binary, or selecting "prefer not to answer" on their entry forms, though there is no solid evidence for the claim.
They legally have to allow men, but they actually dont want them there. Im assuming its so they could get a ticket. If all the men going said they were men, red flags prob would have been raised before the event.
