People who were paying attention tried to warn everybody back when obama started this shite 15 years ago, but we were all called tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists.
It is all there in public records requiring this Section 8 crap to be pushed out into the suburbs.

That’s what people on Greenwell street used to say and were saying it again 20 yrs later in park forest and Monticello.

You’d be surprised how effective that can be. Definitely good to organize and build political pressure. That’s one good thing those Concerned Citizens groups do.

If you want to keep good teachers in your district, you might want to have some housing they can afford.

Your schools would only be affected if parents stopped being involved.

Kids success is much more determined by their parents than the school system.

Move to a parish/county that (1) has buffer parishes/counties between you and the nearest shithole and (2) is at least 70% conservative so you don’t have to worry about a woke sheriff, DA, or judges.

This is a very affluent area. There are not many jobs here. It's total bullshite that these cities are bussing their problems into our neighborhoods.
I would say the outlook for security/criminal justice jobs just became favorable.

The problem with education isn’t money; it’s shitty parents, and they will be exporting them too, in case you’re too stupid to realize it.
Ahhh yes, these smart teachers who doesn’t know the difference bt boys and girls and DOE passing out diplomas to people who haven’t even grasped the most basic subjects & have zero problem solving skills.

Biden ran on this. But suburbanites still voted for him. They literally chose Section 8 over the horror of mean tweets.

Coming from a longhorn fan, I am not surprised. Do you live in Austin too?

It’s coming to any suburban city that can handle the infrastructure. So move to a high net worth area that cannot handle the infrastructure.

We've planted trees, made changes, made memories, and put a lot of personal touch and effort into our home. Some people don't want to sell off their hard work, they want to live in it and continue to make memories with their families. People are allowed to be mad at aspects of capitalism, its def not perfect.

* I have a cousin who has gotten stinking rich owning section 8 apartment complexes in Louisiana. Of course the system is F'ed up, it's Louisiana tax dollars which means bribes, crooks, favoritism.

Why would you want to stop it? Join the ranks of the developers, make a shite ton of money and move to an area where its unlikely to occur again in your lifetime.

Sounds like your schools needed a dose of Pookie and MooMoo fighting teachers and terrorizing fellow white students because they are 200 lb 15 year old 8th graders
