I’ll add that arguably it’s the right age to have been addicted to 4chan and 4chan-adjacent horseshite and combine it with the emotional immaturity of an 18 year old boy.
18 is just about the right age for the explosive mix to occur. Any older, and he would probably still be knee-deep in the Internet muck, but he would have either found a gf or offed himself, in either case, he would have found an outlet for his frustrations.

What I’m arguing is give the gun control advocates the Avenue of pursuing their cause in their own respective state instead of trying to pass a one-size-fits-all federal law.
So we have a patchwork of laws, an individual civil right that depends on what state you are in at the time? It's obvious you have put zero actual thinking into this as well as being grossly ignorant of existing state and federal laws here.

He was definitely radicalized, but I think If it were obvious FBI, this dude would have been the most MAGA dude that ever lived.

You’re literally describing how everything worked prior to the 14th Amendment, and how a lot of stuff still works. The Founders envisioned the Bill of Rights as applying only to the Federal government. The 14th Amendment incorporated the States in the Bill of Rights. (In addition, incorporation has not been 100 percent all-encompassing, as States enjoy various gradients of leeway in regulating civil rights, like voting, that some people in other states would find abhorrent.)

This should be done with guns, drugs, abortion.
Fed was never meant to be this pervasive. Except that pesky 2nd amendment.
States still have gun control. Just not to the level advocates want, and they're impossible to please.
Once people give an inch to progressives, there's no compromise. You lose that inch. That's the problem.
If progs didn't have such a shitty record of going after liberties I would be more willing to compromise.

In fact, we should all be able to acknowledge an 18 year old is very likely to be caught up in and know buzz words, right?

I rarely agree with you Roger, but

Regardless, we’ll hear about this one FOREVER while the media ignores and buries everything that doesn’t fit the narrative,
I’m sure the “I stand with North Tonawanda” filters are coming, and the painting of every white non-democrat man as evil…but they’ve been doing that for a while.

That would probably take a while. Maybe give him some fentanyl first to hurry things up.

I tend to agree after the black dude who ran over old people had his social media scrubbed and repeatedly covered up by the media. Someone was getting paid.
I highly doubt they treat this one with as much "justice"
But that's exactly what I know will happen, and its the world we live in. The propaganda campaign is over. We lost.
Then they end up glorifying this guy in the minds of other twisted young men, and we get a repeat.

On the other hand, maybe they figured keeping it a bit more vague and ambiguous in that area would reduce the possibility of a much deeper look into the claim of being a MAGA devotee which would require a much more involved setup, i.e. backstory. Put another way, the kid isn’t MAGA like that at all, yet to juice it up with that detail anyway would likely end up being an inconsistency in the story which would be the unraveling of it.

Maybe yours.
My LR 308 must be special. It auto loads directly after the shot, and is ready on trigger reset, loaded and ready to fire again.
Its magic. For some weird reason that chamber stays full until the mag is empty.

Let's play this game with the first amendment, especially where the media is concerned. Rachel Maddow would be in prison for life at this point.

Anyone familiar with History understands false flags happen all the time.
I don't think this is one, but just FYI, the FBI is fairly well known for this. I've never actually met anyone who denied false flags and FBI/CIA involvement. Until now.
Even most left wingers acknowledge false flags happen. You'll end up on the wrong side at some point.

But it still happens. Criminals will have guns. The shooter chose New York because of its gun laws meaning people at the store were less likely to be able to defend themselves.
