Buddy insists on driving in bad weather with his hazard lights

A good friend of mine always drives with his hazards on once the weather is bad. Am I getting worked up over nothing? Or is this a legitimately dumb thing to do. Help me convince him.

Aren't there laws for this? however, if your friend insists on using hazard lights ehile still moving the vehicle at speeds warranted by the conditions, he obviously does nit care what others think.

How bad are we talking? A little rainstorm or coming down so hard that you can’t see a foot in front of the car and can only go about 30 mph?

I feel if your hazards are amber, I'll accept it in bad weather.

If your flashers are engaged, you should be on the side of the road. I bet this idiot always drives in the left lane too. If the conditions are too bad for your driving skill level, take the shoulder. You're going to kill someone. You're already breaking the law.

If he drives with his hazards on in the right lane until he can exit the roadway until he feels safe that is fine. If he is on the interstate with his hazards on doing 30mph when everyone else is at least driving 50mph, he is a fricking idiot. Especially if he drives in the left lane with his flashers on doing 30mph holding up traffic. I feel if you deem it so unsafe you need to drive slow AF with you hazards on, you need to GTF off the road!
