You know, a guillotine is really not a bad way to go. If a man had had enough...I can see this as a decent option. I imagine it's like turning the switch off instantly. Just make sure you got a sharp blade and a heavy weight.

Didn't a French scientist do some studies and determined the head remained alive for 20-30 seconds...I thought I read that somewhere

I doubt it. There was a video floating around of a Malaysian dude getting his head cut off by the local shite bags.
After the head came off his eyes were looking around and his mouth seems to be trying to talk. Sure didn’t look like just random muscle twitches.

You can not unsee shite like that.

“The police took the body from the temple to the hospital so medics could perform a post-mortem examination and ascertain the cause of death before returning it to the family for funeral rites.“

So they had to investigate the cause of death. Seems like the could have used their head to figure it out

Yes. Actually it was 11 seconds. The “subject” (another scientist) agreed ahead (pun not intended) of time to the experiment and blinked his eyes for 11 seconds. Theory is he had enough existing blood remaining in his brain and that, unlike a gunshot to head, the guillotine caused no immediate brain damage.

Self-immolation would have made an even bigger impact.

The immediate future always looks so bright for those who take this path, but they always burn out so quickly.

The guillotine, on the other hand... Not many people are willing to stick their neck out for their beliefs like that.

Be very careful if he reincarnates as a barber, a little off the top will have an entirely new meaning,
