They made an extremely limited run of bud light cans (maybe 1 can or a 6 pack or a case?) with the likeness of a transsexual person and sent them to said transsexual person as a gift of sorts and of course as a promotional stunt. Folks are absolutely losing their shite about it as if all the cans in the stores will be emblazoned with said tranny even though no one can buy these cans if they wanted to.

I'd bet you'd be equally dismissive if they printed enough cans to fill every store in the U.S. for a week. "Everyone is losing their shite over a limited edition can that will literally be gone next week."

YTD peak is not also known as all time high. It’s at $65 right now. ATH was above $108 in the past 5 years. So no.

Jokes on you. You aren't as clever as you think you are.

Your post got downvoted because it's stupid and unimaginative.

even if they did do this, how does this REALLY affect you and your life, in the grand scheme of it all? you REALLY gonna lose sleep b/c some beer cans have something on them you don't agree with?

I'd bet that I'm not a snowflake who has to concoct scenarios to get outraged about.

Not even in the slightest. I simply grab Yuengling now and whistle a tune as I walk to the register. I don't get the outrage either brother.

Bud Light vice president of marketing Alissa Heinerscheid said she was inspired to update the "fratty" and "out-of-touch" humor of the beer company with "inclusivity" in a March 30 interview with the podcast "Make Yourself At Home" podcast.

So let's run off/offend our bread-and-butter clientele so a few freaks can attend our show. Good strategy, Alissa.

It was the frick aroundiest of times, it was the find outiest of times

I personally think nobody really cares SPECIFICALLY about this event. But there is a growing resentment of the normalization of feeding delusions.

The guys boycotting this are just lashing out for all the things. Unfortunately for Budweiser, there are too many good or better options that are within arms reach, so to speak. If your company is in a space like that, they should tread lightly as frick.

This. This is it. Just all of the LGBTQ shite creeping into every single space. I get it, they have always been there, in my generation they have been generally accepted, but now they want us to CELEBRATE them and NORMALIZE very abnormal behavior. And if we don't We are the problem.

All publicity is good publicity. For the first time in several years, lots of people are talking about Bud Light. (Who would ever otherwise talk about Bud Light?)

Whether you call it delusions or mental illness or whatever else, you're going to have a hard time convincing me that treating a person as anything other than a person is ever the right thing to do. If being accepting of people is "feeding" or "normalization" of whatever, then if you ask me resentment of that is the mental illness.

Yes I know. Some folks lash out about all the things all the time and then call everyone else snowflakes.
