Will they even dare to try serving Boudin?

Went once to the one in Richmond. Don't get the hype.

There are some teething issues with brand new ones. But they are very impressive parts of the landscape once they hit their stride.

Need to be able to get a shrimp sandwich or poboy there. This should be the one Buc-ees that has a section for local cuisine.

Will it have a full liquor store and games?

Otherwise, I'll keep stopping in Rayne or Jennings.

Buccees is the place you want ideally located 3-4 hrs from your starting point on your way to presumed final arrival destination somewhere in Texas or in the Southeast or Florida beaches.

I don’t think it’s something you crave in or near your hometown. How many people in Lafayette are truly clamoring for clean gas station bathrooms? Just go home ETA: for other Louisiana travelers. If you’re leaving Lake Charles and headed east or you’re leaving BR and headed west … if your first stop is in Lafayette an hour away, you’re doing it wrong. Unless you want boudin or cracklins for the trip.

Exactly this

This location is halfway between the new one opening outside Gulfport and the existing one in Baytown..... About 3 hours from each one

Still don't get the obsession with a gas station

Well, you have to agree…it is the cream of the crop as far as gas stations are concerned.

Main takeaway here is simple. It’s a win for economic growth in the state I live in.

Great, an oversized Circle K to frick up traffic.

Typical mouth breathing La baw view.
Yeah let’s just stick with our gas stations with high as a kite a-hole tards working up front and restrooms filled with toilet water on the floor, graffiti, and smells from hell.
Probably is a lot like their trailer bathroom.

I liken it to the feud the La Legisture has going on between building a new bridge in BR or LC.

We need them BOTH, ASAP. The I-10 corridor more broadly, and efficient access through it, is the most important factor in Louisiana’s economy. I’ll gladly accept any investment into it.

But the citizens of Louisiana, particularly south Louisiana, find it more appealing to hate everything that happens.

My grandma lives in Maryview Farms. They better build a ton of retention/detention ponds because that area cannot take all that concrete.

IDK, but...we have boudin in Texas. And there are also tons of frozen boudin options in the food supply catalog...which is where most of the Louisiana gas station boudin comes from.
