I guess it was inevitable. I assume a blue Covid quarantine of half the department will be next.

One of them reads, “Senior leadership identified as Chief of Police Murphy Paul has been routinely accused both publicly and internally by subordinates within the Baton Rouge Police of providing a disparity in discipline. The disparity is alleged to be motivated primarily on the grounds of lenient discipline for Officers of color and harsh discipline for Officers of non-color.”

Ahhh, so nothing will happen.

Like the FBI will find anything..

Unless it’s to arrest 1/6 people and friends of Trump.

It is doubtful Biden’s DoJ will have any part in a discrimination claim of this sort.

The FBI? Careful they will find something wrong with the guys who wrote the letter rather than the chief of police. Lol

I always enjoy a good mutiny. I’ve been a part of a few mutinies and I’ve been the target of a few as well.

There’s no better way to divide a department than what Murphy Paul is doing. When you can’t trust leadership that’s a huge problem and will continue to fester until it reaches a boiling point. I hope Kiran doesn’t stop the pressure and uncovers something big on Paul and SWB, which they can’t cover up and will lead to their demise with criminal charges being administered.

All I know is the chief of police of a major city should live inside that city. Hell, at least inside of the parish.

Is the city and parish not safe enough for our chief? Are the schools not good enough for his children? What is the issue?

They’re black politicians…they will NEVER be charged with a crime regardless of what they do.

The Obama administration's efforts are still working out--just later for some folks. Paul will probably get a standing ovation at the 2023 State of the Union address.
