Oh yea, my ex and I use to do the same thing but with battery candles. She’d put hers on when she wanted it, and visa versa. They were hanging on each side of the bed. My batteries took a beating.

Just do what my wife does...she blows up my phone until I go to bed.
Same concept but we are using technology we already have....and it is a bit less conspicuous. Instead of a swirling glow I get a "come give me 15 seconds of fun and 4 minutes of disappointment."
