California guard has 24k soldiers. You don't think they could find one quality general who has an infantry background and is tabbed? Come on brah

Nothing dumber than a jarhead.

Nope. We’ll just have to agree to disagree on this I guess.

Thought the comments were pretty clear. This isn't a knock on women. It's a particular mentality and physical ability that will hold them back. Emotion can not be a driving force.
Get all mad and downvote... it's the truth.

Having spent 10 years in the infantry and 10 years in aviation, no aviation officer should ever command infantry. Man or woman, if they were not prior infantry then they have no concept of day to day life as a grunt.
I would say the same thing if it were an infantry officer commanding an aviation brigade. The jobs are way to different to comprehend.

Because women don’t belong in the military, they don’t belong in any combat arms, and they damn sure don’t belong commanding an infantry platoon, much less an infantry division, period.

The Commander of the US Pacific Fleet is an aviator and has never commanded a ship.
Yet he is somehow in charge of nearly half of the USN's ships.
You don't always need direct experience to know how to lead.
Another way of putting it.
Are the best coaches, former players? No. Not always

If they gave her the job because she's qualified, good for her.
If they gave her the job because she has a vagina, shame on them.
ETA I know. How intolerant of me. A vagina doesn't define a woman. Women can have penises these days. Big beautiful feminine cocks.

What are the capital ships of the USN?

Also, you do realize the Army was involved in both the first and second battle of Fallujah, right? I mean this is just asinine.

You don't think an angry man has ever lead a combat force into a poorly thought out attack?
You don't think a man is capable of having an emotional meltdown on the field of battle? Have you ever seen the episode of BoB and Lt. Dyke?

Why are all these strong men offing themselves esp Marines when they get back to the states? Must be that emotional strength they have

You think men can’t be emotional when it comes to hard decisions? Whether you like him or not, our own President defies that notion.

Just stating the obvious, yall are the ones with your panties in a wad about women in Military
Posted on 6/18/19 at 9:36 am to Tigeralum2008
Honestly, this comes from a mentality which is unable to adapt to change. They fail to realize that not all change is bad. Hell... 60 years ago, they said black people couldn't fight in combat because they had poor night vision... which was complete bullshite.
I agree women should not be in an infantry platoon, but the idea of excluding women out of the military is stupid at best.
