Simply put, we wouldn't have enough personnel in the military if we decided to kick them out. Women are just as lethal as men in most categories except hand to hand combat and other infantry related activities.
I agree women should not be in the infantry but excluding them from all other combat roles is ignorant.

Lol. Aviation officer commanding an Infantry DIVISION. She would never have gotten that command without being a female. Hell, most Aviation officers would not get that command solely because they were not branched Infantry.

Sure... helo pilots, hospital medics, paper pushers, mechanics, dentists, air traffic control, etc. One of the ballsiest Kiowa pilots i've ever met was a chick. Can any chick do any job... well of course not. The army needs to start actually testing aptitude and fit prior to enlistment for ALL MOS's and genders.
I've met quite a few guys who had no place in an infantry platoon, which puts so much more on the people around them.

I was on active duty in the Army for a number of years as an Infantryman... I still think completely excluding all women is ignorant. Sure... there's some women who shouldn't be anywhere near the military, but there's a frick ton of men who fit in that category also.
