Brainteaser/Riddle Thread

Rules:
If you solve a brainteaser/riddle you have to offer your own to challenge the group.
There are 12 men on an island and 11 of them weigh exactly the same. There are no scales on the island. There is however there is a seesaw.
How do you determine the man who weighs differently?
If you use the seesaw, you can only use it three times.
ib4: The doctor was the boys mother; The man was a cheat at cards; He was killed with an icicle; He hung himself standing on an ice block; The alligators are at the “animal conference”...

You pile 3 men on each side, for a total of 6.
I’d they are equal, then the other group is the one with the different weight
Then take those who were lighter/heavier, and take an extra and sit 2 on each side.
Then take the side that is lighter/heavier and 1 on each side
You’ll have your answer

that only works if you know the odd guys is heavier or lighter. if you dont know you could get lucky but it wont work all the time.
