People think that the blind item above is about Pitt, and he released this info before his GF could

That's not what happened at all. He offered the interviewer a glass of wine and was then asked abt his sobriety.

I made that mistake in 2006. Same reasoning and same plan he’s using.

Wait about 3 years max and check in with Brad.

Women and Drunks don't mix well.

It's all fun and games at the beginning but then the shite hits the fan.

His ‘Make it Right’ 9th ward homes must have been ‘Make it while drunk’ with how shitty the craftsmanship was. I’ve seen homeless camps under overpasses with better workmanship

I dont blame him. His psycho ex wife is turning his kids trans & making them hate him for not approving. This is what happens when you stick your dick in crazy.

I think people will look back on the “sober” fad and see how much good art was lost and how society degraded

I think the whole “sobriety” trend is partly responsible for woke culture

This right here. Hemingway would have been shite without a bottle of bourbon.

I used to write for a national newsstand publication. I did my best work when 3/4 in the bag. Usually on my laptop sitting in the back of a dark bar.

this but unironically, what is the point of going into arts if you are going to live like a baptist?

So much irony in that interview. How many people need prerequisites (discipline, self-awareness, limitations, etc.) before drinking. A 'self-aware" individual would understand the alcohol is already in control. Normal drinkers don't require per-conditions or significant self-reflection. He may be the exception, but most fail when they venture out to do more field research.

Hemingway waited until he was through writing for the day before he started drinking. And he did some of his best writing when he had his drinking under control. Same with Scott Fitzgerald.

Heroin and music on the other hand….

Good. He was at his best in the early years. See 12 Monkeys, Seven, and Fight Club etc for example.
