AMC at the mall. IMAX screen if possible.
I always go on the 1 showing on Sat or Sun.

You should try the Celebrity (Old Grand) on Jones Creek and Coursey. They just had a major remodel of everything including reclining seats now. There will be a Phase 2 I believe to include a bar and more food items.
This is good to hear, that location was already my favorite before the remodel because hardly anyone would show up for the late shows I like to catch

Broadmoor twin back in the day. Eat at Wesley's pizza, play the skeet game, then go see a movie. Eat fresh popcorn. All without spending more than the mortgage.

You've never been there? They don't advertise (for obvious reasons) but I always thought it was one of those well known secrets.

quote:My go to theater as a kid. Used to ride our bikes there. Still remember seeing "Herbie Rides Again" (1974), "The Hindenburg" (1975), "The Apple Dumpling Gang" (1975), and "King Kong" (1976) there.
Broadmoor
Great memories.

How about the one they used to have on essen lane? It was a small theater in a super small indoor mall place, right next to where ichiban is today. I recall seeing Dante's Peak there.

Was called Essen Cinema. Saw Golden Child, Blind Date, and Twins there.
Good memories from late 80s.
SJB group uses that space now.

We would come down for a weekend ball game in highschool and usually go to Bon Marche.

The GOAT movie theater is currently being rebuilt. Was the Movie Tavern in Denham Springs. It's night and day from the one off of Citiplace in terms of service and cleanliness. A real shame it won't be back until Fall 2017.
