This coming from someone that supports the job the feds are doing. They still have to do it right.
Did you miss the part where he had a gun holstered to his back a few seconds prior? That combined with someone yelling "gun" is what I believe illicited the reaction.
Is that me saying it was correct? No.
But again, acting like someone yelled "gun" and then LEO shooting this dude in pure isolation is what happened is not accurate.

It’s when do they have to start their threat assessment. You can’t say he’s not a threat unless you’ve done your assessment. The assessment starts when he doesn’t something abnormal like standing in the street trying to direct cars. That becomes the moment where all his actions after that point are relevant. No judge would allow those actions to be ignored. What you are trying to say is that we cant prejudice him by what he ate for breakfast. However, once he is perceived by ICE to require a threat evaluation, all actions become relevant. Period. Being in the street away from a crowd directing other cars to block them is by far enough to begin that assessment.

they do play a part in it, but it also has no bearing on THIS case, b/c this guy wasn't doing what you are condemning them for... other cases, sure, it may applicable, but this one, not so much, so the "they do it too" doesn't really factor in, on THIS case

We are talking about him in the street. The moment he starts obstructing, he becomes noticed by ICE and they have to determine what to do. Is he a threat? That question begins there. So his actions from that point are relevant. We are only talking relevance.
Also, he was attempting to stop ICE from detaining someone. If you want to start after the initial contact.
