We have already established your focus isn't on maximizing detentions and deportations.
I’ll agree when you also agree the left’s focus here isn’t on immigration, it’s on hiding the fraud committed financially and in voting to keep their power.
The right wants the fraud to stop, ice is in the middle, and the left wants it to continue.

Yes or no.
No. I'm trying to keep the focus only on the facts of the incident itself

Libs like SFP just want everyone to focus on this one, isolated incident. They don't want to address the root causes: open borders, sanctuary cities, benefit fraud, and terrible liberal policies. It's completely useless to sit and argue all day about what happened. It was a failure on both sides, but the root cause has nothing to do with Trump.
You're letting them win by continuing to engage in debating semantics.

So when do we worry about Minnesota?
Why do you feel an illegal in Minnesota is more important than one in Texas or Florida?

In other news 1,300 Americans are shot each year by law enforcement.
By my math, that is 3 per day.
Bet a bunch of those are pretty bad shot situations but not seeing the same amount of uproar.

Hey cool none of that is the root fricking cause.

No, you've been attempting to frame-shift. And then accusing others of doing exactly what you're doing.
Yes or no.

It’s rightly discussing this issue in terms of political culpability
That is exactly the in/out group identification that is causing the need for the coping/defense mechanism.

which is what all sides are ultimately doing including you.
I don't think I've made a partisan or group-based argument in this thread, other than the one about citizens getting the shaft in our current criminal law system. That's a citizens v. state distinction, though, and the state is rather esoteric

It’s been stated several times already… neither party has or intends to push for true immigration system and court reform. It’s too politically advantageous for both parties
I dont believe this, trump had tried to get something in place in his first term only to be unraveled by Biden Administration. They are the ones that allowed the masses to flow in unchecked. That is on Democrats and stats back that up. So, your statement holds no water.

Starting an argument with “this wouldn’t have happened if…” then blaming Trump isn’t political framing!?
Again, he tired this to use framing to defend the actions. I only changed the framing slightly to show why this frame-shifting was not a substantive or productive argument.
I was not sincerely making the argument.

Why hasn’t this happened in Texas where there are a significant amount more of ICE detainers than in Minnesota? What’s the difference?

How does that equate to more important? I’d say both areas are equally important. Especially sanctuary cities where the last admin pet run rampant. Why do you fail to answer direct questions?
Typical lawyer

I'm not a defender of illegal immigration
I just don't think Trump is going about it intelligently or efficiently, and, sadly, is hindering efforts to maximize deportations now and will have disastrous effects on the policies moving forward.
This silliness in Minnesota is a good example of doubling down on bad ideas based in emotions and ego.
