I’m absolutely fascinated by people that think Congress and multiple presidents have been powerless to modify spending since 1988.

Or that taxes on “the rich” are lower today. I’d HAPPILY take 1978 tax law over 1986, or 2022 tax law. In a heartbeat.

Lol you fricking people act like you live in the slums of India.

I’m a millennial and my generation is full of a bunch of fricking ungrateful bitches. Go out there and take it.

Reagan was a scumbag piece of shite who directly caused the internal strife affecting this country by facilitating the flooding of cities with drugs while simultaneously incarcerating more people than ever thanks to the War on Drugs.

Negative, Ghost Rider, President Clinton incarcerated hundreds of thousands more people than Ronnie Raygun did.

Naw, mostly on republicans and their zeel to reduce taxes for their wealthy benefactors.

The Clinton boom came after he admitted he raised taxes too much and then cut them.

In 1997, Clinton signed a reduction in the (audible liberal gasp) capital gains tax rate to 20% from 28%.

Oh no

As the tax rate on capital gains came down, real wages made their biggest advance since the implementation of the Reagan tax rate reductions in the mid 1980s. Real average hourly earnings were (in 1982 dollars) $7.43 in 1996, $7.55 in 1997, $7.75 in 1998, $7.86 in 1999, and $7.89 in 2000.

This thread is such a fail. The first pictures weren’t even funny.

I’m actually not doing that. Just having a little fun to lighten the day. I’m very happy to see Boomer jokes also.

PS: I have 3 Millenial kids.

Yeah, that guy who is trying to pin it all on Reagan is acting like when he was in office the president was all powerful and could set policy forever but the same office suddenly became completely powerless to do anything after he left.

The intellectual dishonesty is off the charts

Notice how light this thread is on actual pictures like the OP wanted…it’s because boomers can’t figure out to post them.

Sorry you had shitty parents. Boomer here with no debt, worked hard and children will have a nice inheritance. Children were taught to get an education and find a career. All 3 are successful and won’t need any inheritance.

Seems like you should look in the mirror and see the person most responsible for your situation.

Millennials are getting old. It’s time to update all the memes featuring 20 year olds to reflect that.

I’m a 40 year old millennial.
