RIP
She’s most famous for other songs, but this is my favorite from her.

Singer Bonnie Tyler, known for hits including Total Eclipse of the Heart, Holding Out for a Hero and It's a Heartache, has died at the age of 75.
A message posted on the official website for the hugely popular Welsh power ballad diva read: "Bonnie's family and team are heartbroken to announce that Bonnie unexpectedly passed away last night in hospital in Portugal as a result of the illness that she was being treated for."
She’s most famous for other songs, but this is my favorite from her.

She had so many great songs other than her US hits. Rest in Peace to a legend

I can't believe she was outlived by her brother Steven

Total Eclipse is still a banger. Loved her raspy voice

Such a pioneer. The bravery it took to write lyrics like "I fricking need you tonight " in the early 80s really goes overlooked today.

Total Eclipse of the Heart
Don't know if y'all remember the literal videos that were on the internet like 15-20 years ago, but this one was one of the best (along with Journey's Separate Ways and Meatloaf's I'd Do Anything for Love..). I searched for YEARS to find those and couldn't, but now they can be found:

Brings back memories... We would be riding in the car and a buddy would start singing "Total Eclipse of the Fart".. and on cue a foul stench would hit our noses...

Forgot about that video. Few things show 80's drama like slow motion doves.
