Any idea who this judge is??? I read the story in the link and it doesn't mention the judges name.
I'll go out on a limb here and conclude that the judge who issued this low bond is also one of the downtrodden or liberal Democrat virtue signaler.

Ann Marie Rose Emmons
Her profile says she's from New Jersey and a former professor.

I know I'm going to get downvoted, but that's the legal reason.
Innocent until proven guilty/due process and excessive bail are deeply inshrined in our Constitution. People profess to love the Constitution right up until they disagree with it.
If she shows up for proceedings bail has done its job, it doesn't impact time spent in jail unless there is a life without sentence. In fact, county jail time is usually easier than prison time it is arguable that sitting in jail waiting for a trial date and getting credit for it reduces the harshness of the sentence.

There is no question of her guilt.
She's on video beating the baby.
But she has not yet been adjudicated guilty. That's a major point.
Putting people in prison and throwing away the key before they've had a trial is exactly the opposite of what the Constitution guarantees.

It would be very interesting to see other bonds this judge has set and compare the crimes.

I'd volunteer to stalk and seriously hurt this piece of human filth for the father if he won't do it. She should have had her arse beat before the police got to her at the daycare

She should be kept in jail till trial.

How are we going to compensate those accused of violent crimes who are eventually found innocent? These trials take months. Years in some cases.

It’s good to know they are more concerned with the judges safety rather than the child’s. People have had enough of the activist judges. 231 people dead in Houston alone from 2013 - 2021 from activist judges letting people out on pr bonds. I bet the families of all the people who have been murdered/raped/had their lives forever ruined by criminals being let out onto the streets by these activist judges wish it had only been a threat their loved ones got. Gfy to all the activists who have led to this environment.
This is where the Civil War starts. It is either here or another stolen election due to voter fraud.
It will be vengeance on a judge, or a group of judges, that have enabled this and the wrong loved one or child will be tragically killed when it could have been prevented.

Daycare worker and the Soros judge should be taken over to nearby Lake Seminole for swimming lessons.
There are some mighty big gators down that way

I assume this judge will sentence this lady to 50 hrs of community service and a formal apology.

This too.
I understand and agree with the anger and feeling of injustice in the meantime, but society is not equipped to fully restore the wrongfully accused in a theoretical system where violent offenders are always held until trial. The bond should be higher in this case, but bonding is a reasonably fair system all things considered.
