Boiled peanuts abomination

These circle k’s in the city area of BR. I wanted a good cup of boiled peanuts terribly. What I got was half arse crunchy boiled bullshite and like 1,900 mg sodium. Someone didn’t get the message that boiled peanuts are supposed to be soft and if it’s worth doing it’s worth doing right. I could have bought a sack of boiling peanuts and did it myself by now. Drafting a letter tonight or this weekend.

You’re getting boiled peanuts from a gas station on a Friday night. How do you expect them to taste?

From what I’m trying to munch on right now it’s like someone literally forgot to plug in something or poured a sack of salt into it, not some mundane detail. In other words a case of the IDGAF’s. So that being said I think I will actually make my own from now on. (Inspirational music plays)

I've done the grocery store Boiled Peanuts and the gas station is serving the same crap. I saw the Sam's size barrel of Boiled Peanuts on the counter one day and it was the same brand.

I've picked them up in Mississippi from the dude on the side of the road who usually sets up on 607 across from Welcome Center.

Yep. They are pretty good. They have regular (salty) and cajun (spicey). The last two times I went there, it was a woman serving.

There’s only two places I eat boiled peanuts from. Mine and the Texaco station at the 4-way stop in Woodville
