Pretty standard decend.

I’m only 35hrs into my flight training but our standard descent is usually 500ft/min

1000’ seems excessive.

Definitely seems like pilot error. Can’t wait for the FAA report

F16 made a turn over our neighborhood at 500 ft a few weeks ago. Cracked a window in our home and nearly made me piss myself.

I was in Frisco back on March 20th when Biden decided to fly into DFW instead of Love around 6pm for a campaign fund raiser later that night. A fighter escort flew low enough to be louder than I ever remembered any plane flying over that area in the past and then it kept getting louder and louder with some rumbling as it got closer to the point of briefly starting to think a plane was about to crash nearby. You could feel it as it passed over.

I didn’t know about Biden until I started searching online afterwards and didn’t know it was a fighter jet until after it had passed over when I saw it break out of some dense cloud coverage as it was then heading south at a higher elevation.

I’m no mathematician, but doesn’t it have to “plunge to 0 feet” in order to land?

Or crash

I may need to fly on a Boeing to experience the dive. I have flown on many Boeings before but something was wrong because they ain't dive.

I just refuse to fly… you could tell me I had $1 million in Hawaii and the only way I could get it in time was to fly, well they can keep the money.

Statistically, this is an absurd position.

The DEI-hire Pilot and Co Pilot will get bonuses and commendations for landing the plane safely.

The cockpit voice recorder is the pilot bitching the entire time to the co-pilot about mansplaining as he was giving altitude readouts.
