Doubt the brand of plane had anything to do with it.
Oh yeah this not a Boeing situation.
Rumors that they mistook a road for the runway after being cleared for a visual approach for Rwy 13 which is in line with their heading on the low approach.

This sounds more like pilot error
I know on the 737-MAX there was a sensor that malfunctions and makes the plane think its about to stall out and nose dives the plane. It's why those 2 flights crashed and they grounded all of them afterwards for a few years.
CNN
quote:
The angle-of-attack (AOA) sensor, as it’s known, sends data to a 737 Max software system that pushes the nose of the aircraft down if it senses an imminent stall. That software, triggered by erroneous data from AOA sensors, is believed to have played a role in crashes of Lion Air and Ethiopian Airlines jets.
quote:
In one 2011 case, the flight crew on a Boeing 737-800 reported that the “angle of attack and airspeed failed” and declared an emergency. An AOA sensor was then replaced. The FAA also issued two directives for various Boeing aircraft models before the 737 MAX was released, indicating that Boeing was aware of the potential for the sensors to cause problems in its planes.

This wasn't a MAX

You’re better than this. Southwest pilots descend below the glide slope is what your title should read.
ETA - SWA had a similar incident back in April.

That is true of many crashes which are due to CFIT - Controlled Flight Into Terrain - one of, if not the most, common causes of crashes. Pilots fly perfectly functioning planes into the ground.....
Flight into terrain is the most common cause.

Such a complete 180 from when Alan Mually turned them around.

What does this have to do with Boeing? 32,000 people a year die in car accidents, are you going to trash on Chevy or Toyota?
Keep that head in the sand. Pretty obvious Boeing has massive problems currently whether this was due to a simple pilot error or not

Boeing has plenty to be blamed for, but this situation ain't on them. This is straight pilot error.

You're absolutely pissy that you fricked up posting the information and got called on it, and now you're lashing out at me

Ok. Calm down. It’s ok.

I'm not uncalm
Wouldn't it just be easier to say "my bad" and move along?

If you’d calm down long enough to read, I already said I missed the first part of the section and I’ve removed it from the OP. Not sure what else you need. Should I like bow before you and your wondrous “calling out” powers and how you “got me”.

If that were true you’d have stopped with your pissing match already.
