I don’t know. Given his extremely calm demeanor and his not demanding to know why they were taking his wife away in handcuffs, I have a sneaking suspicion that he had some idea of what was going on.
Whenever you see a video of someone being arrested in front of their boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse, that person is always extremely loud in demanding to know what the hell is going on. This guy just sat there like it was something he was expecting.

I didn't watch the entire video, but did the officer have a warrant? I may have missed it but in what I saw he asked her to step out, come with him and arrested her without telling her anything.

There are still 4 states which will allow a child to marry and adult at any age if the child's parents consent. Only 10 states prohibit a minor getting married at all, all others allow it 15, 16 and 17 years of age, some with and some without parental consent. As recently as the mid 90s in Murphy Village, South Carolina it was common for girls. supposedly aged 12 but many were younger than that. to be married in arranged marriages and the state turned a blind eye to the number of girls, many less than 12 years old, showing up at local hospitals with problems delivering the child they were pregnant with. The state finally changed the law, on paper, after a Dateline NBC story took the state to task over it....but it still happens. Not like it did but there are still a bunch of girls born 12 years or so ago who are now surprisingly 15 marrying someone in an arranged marriage....

Most age of consent laws prohibit people beyond a certain age from having consensual sex with someone under a certain age...for example it would be against the law for a 15 and a 16 year old to engage in sex. 2 - 15 year olds can do so without breaking the law. In this case she is almost certainly guilty of statutory rape...why anyone is OK with someone committing statutory rape because it seems sexy to them is pretty sick....its a child being used by a legal adult for sexual gratification. It doesn't matter if the child instigated and enjoyed the act, it is a crime and it is a crime for a reason...because it can and often does cause the child some pretty severe emotional issues......

I posted in the original thread that I found it interesting they’re called college sweethearts but they were 30 when they got married. She was banging students before they got married. Makes me think he knew about it and that’s why the wedding was so delayed for so called college sweethearts.

Kinda fricked up the way she was taken in.

Granted I’ve never been arrested but that was a shockingly small amount of information to give someone that you’re taking into police custody.
