Benzos are standard for panic attacks and anxiety. The fact that he was taking Trazodone indicates that SSRI's (prozac, paxil) were not working and that the doctors felt that he had no other choice than take older drugs.
He was most likely engaging in self-harm by banging his head against the wall to relieve anxiety and he just was so bad that he had to hit his head harder to the point where he fractured his skull in multiple places. What we need are photos of the scene and autopsy photos of his skull and so on and x-rays. He had multiple fractures of his skull. This was beyond a slip and fall and hitting your head which can cause death, but multiple fractures indicates he was engaging in self-harm like the retarded folks who hit their heads on the wall or floor.
