Off topic but condon sucks. How does a man with his voice have a radio show?

Because his face isn't fit for TV.

They walked their beat and got to know everyone in the neighborhood. They were human.

That was before they were pretty much neutered by bureaucrats and animals were allowed to take over the streets. Can’t blame cops for being very leery of citizens the last few years.

Discrepancies in measurement have arisen due to some taking measurements from the base of the shaft and others from their taint. Things like this can really divide the nation

Only the short strokers measure from the taint. Anyone packing some serious size can measure from the base without fear.

It’s probably still that way in small town America

Probably never was any better than now in the big city

Cops aren’t dehumanized.
But, you cut the forces, the ones that remain will become more dehumanized due to being overworked

agreed that its mostly city based issue. but disagree that they arent dehumanized. body cams only scratch the surface theres too many times they arent utilized or the footage is "lost".

I definitely think they need to be better funded for training. they get like 4 combat hours training a year, which is a gross disservice to everyone. everyone would be much better off spending the money for training in combat/de-escalation instead of fancy shiny cars with hidden markings and bearcats. like everything its complicated but everyone would benefit from police having serious priority rearrangement

That Mayor is doing a wonderful job. She will definitely get reelected.

Her focus isn’t re-election, she’s on Biden short list as a VP candidate. She can’t piss off the radical element because they have all the power in the Dem Party right now.

blame leadership for prioritizing vehicles over training. they are more worried about having bearcats and chargers than training. its no wonder cops are scared when all the money goes to shiny objects over training and continued education.

holy shite there is something so real to this. nowadays they seem to be trained as interchangeable parts to a unit where as they used to be actual individuals of the community. maybe society changed too much too fast but cops need to be humanized again. in both their own role, and the citizens eyes.

This is true for many aspects of society, not just police officers.

When the police department is “defunded”, these will be the first things cut, which the liberal fantasy world types claim is needed the most.
Further, labor will be cut ie the number of officers will be reduced, again working against what the utopians need
