I believe it is fake, just to stir the shite. We seem to need to create boogeymen to focus our ire on.

It's not fake. About 5 years ago a group formed in Lawrence led by the son (adopted) of some old time wealthy residents. He started a "movement" akin to BLM and started a website that listed the businesses in town that had either donated money, pledged money or their support. If you hadn't done it, and they had demanded it, you were put on the "list". It was flat out extortion - nobody did anything about it and they guy and his "movement" have faded away. He's still here - the Univeristy of Kansas hired him as a GTA where he makes the white kids pledge fealty.

Oh, and he also cornered a prof and demanded that he write a stupid email or something so he got banned from campus, but somehow got hired on as a GTA. This shite really is clown world.

He's also taken over City Commission meetings and School Board meetings. He's pretty much vanished and nobody ever really took him seriously. However, this is the MO of these people - do not think it's a joke. It's not.

There are two different BLMs right? There is one that is an actual non profit and then the other is just an idea right?
Isn't it known that the non-profit one is complete bullshite? I haven't kept up with the evolution of the BLM movement, but if I am correct, which one did this letter come from?

Yep, my Nephew is in 10th grade at HP high. My sister moved from Plano to HP a few years ago so that he could fulfill her dream of going to SMU. ( It does not matter what he wants, she has an agenda.)

What does Highland Park resident giving up an Ivy Spot do for blacks?
Many of the blacks admitted to Ivy Leavue schools are admitted and paid for out of schools’s endowment just because of their race already. They have or get spots regardless of being earned - see Obama and Columbia. A white person from highland park not going isn’t going to free up spots for blacks unless these idiots believe no other Asian or whites were next in line.

I just looked it up and these Highland Park kids are good to go if they want to avoid being racist hypocrites and sign on the line to SMU, TCU, Baylor, or A&M. All ranked between 50 and 80. Whew....

This is from wiki. I am pretty sure the BLM Global Network or some non profit like it doesn't really give a single frick about any lives, they just use the popularity of BLM in order to get donations in which is just another avenue for politicians to receive donations.
Since donors can only give certain amounts of money during certain periods, these organizations are created as another stream to get candidates money..
And they can use black people who get killed by police as away to get people worked up an emotional which only causes donations to go up.
And they have to do this shite to stay in the news.. Kind of like how PETA will, every once in awhile, be in the news because they announced that they support some bullshite that will catch people's attention.
