I think they should sue the Louvre next for not making the Mona Lisa be able to be enjoyed by the blind in the same way it is enjoyable to everyone else.

Does the Louvre promote technology that will allow the blind to better enjoy the experience of the Mona Lisa? Have they made money off the blind from said technological advances?

Not that simple when you start promoting accommodations for the disabled in exchange for money

On the surface this seems frivolous and ridiculous, but after reading details it seems like devices that AMC is promoting toward these blind folks don't work...in other words they're not getting what they're paying for

In my experience AMC does not give out refunds. They will give a voucher to see another movie but they won't give you your money back.

Going form personal experience, I've been at two different AMC theaters when they had to clear the theater mid movie (fire alarm pulled & broken projector) and both times they refused to do anything other give a ticket to see a movie at a different time.

On the surface I thought this was going to be a hilariously stupid case. Now it sounds like a service that the patron paid for was not given, and that's a lot less frivolous.

Put the descriptions in Braille in the seat back pocket of the seat on front of them. Boom, problem solved

I was thinking wireless headphones that you can get like when they hand you 3D glasses. The sound that plays is an audio description as the movie plays out.

Good Lord, you know how many movies I have "watched" from the front seat of the vehicle as my kids played the movie in the rear seats? After hearing the movie 50 times, I can dang near draw the entire thing out , and I have never seen an actual frame of the movie.

These people are ridiculous and any legal system that gives this type of money grabbing lawsuit any traction at all is equally ridiculous.

I used to put on events and conventions and there was a deaf person would call and threaten to sue if I didn't hire a translator for them at the event. Then they would provide the number of a translator service. It was a scam to make events pay the translator service.

They supposedly have that, but it's always broken, thus the lawsuit.
