Oh we had a brief outcry. That was across the street from my house. BLM fled like rats off a sinking ship once it was released that it was a Hispanic dude.

The Madison County, AL area had 3 suicide attempts that I heard yesterday. One was an attempted hanging using a belt.
They have had 6 suicide attempts in the last three days that I have heard in limited time listening to the scanner.

I'll go with this. Our area frequently has people jumping from the overpasses and they barely get a blip on the local new's website. But the two black guys who hung themselves have made national news.

Is there really an increase in black people hanging themselves in public, or is this like the I think early 2000s when the news started reporting on shark bites every time it happened, created a mass panic and big deal about shark bites, but the actual # of shark bites were in line with what they always were.
Would love to get an answer on this one. If this is truly out of left field, it would definitely seem way too coincidental. If not, then it's just the news doing what they do.

There was. Initially it was incorrectly reported the man was black and twitter started to pop off. Once it was determined it was a different minority, they went somewhere else to complain.

They are hanging themselves due to being suicidal AND hoping that their death is passed off as a lynching.
