But this isn't even white flight though. "White people" aren't going anywhere. They aren't "leaving" or even moving at all. SG is just incorporating because they wanted a school district and were told no, and that if they wanted their own district they should incorporate.
Also, the narrative of "predominantly white" are misguided. The U.S. is predominantly white, so it stands to reason that most areas, cities, etc. would be the same.

There was a story circulating a few yrs ago to the effect that a group of blacks were buying acres & acres of land, somewhere in Ga., to build their own city. Did that ever materialize? Would be interesting to see that city 10 yrs from now.

I was looking into emplying foreign workers awhile back. The two men helping me and offering their visas, both black, told me I cannot mix foreign blacks with American blacks. Apparently this was especially true for Jamaicans
