Bizarre sea creature spotted in icy river in Alaska

It's a long strand of moss naturally flowing back and forth as the current pushes past.

Two things...
1. How do we know that was a living creature? It doesn't even really move.
2. Why are videos of these kinds of things always so short? If you were really recording footage of a bizarre creature, then why would you not record for a much longer time?

It's not moving. It only looks like it's moving because the river current is flowing through it as it remains stationary.

When the guy zooms in, it makes it appear to be moving upstream because you can't see anything around it.

Definitely not a mammal. Mammals don't swim side to side. But it could be debris waving in the current.
