It’s quite obvious you aren’t in sales. This sounds like the New Coke strategy all over again. And it’s irrelevant what you, personally, think of the taste of Bud or Bud Light. Those beers are/were wildly popular, and they are/were huge money makers. To change the recipe of either would be as idiotic as New Coke was, or as idiotic as thinking you could insult your customers, and then seamlessly replace them all with trannies, gays, and woke housewives.

I hope he does buy it back. But I found my new beer in Yuengling and will stay with it regardless. He would face a few decades of uphill battle to get it back to top.
But in the bigger scheme of things we need more beer companies so this would be a good start. And he can likely buy up some other beer brands as well (from Inbev and Coors/Molsen) so we have more competition.

This thread comes across as a coping mechanism for Bud Light drinkers. "Buy it back, Billy"! "Yeah, make Bud Light, great again."
Give me a break. Bud Light is easily replaced by any number of beers. That's why it was so easy to boycott. No one cared. Heinersheid (or however you spell her name) shot herself in the foot and dragged her company down with her. Big deal.
Now, how many of you have stopped watching football because of the many organizations supporting causes like "pride" or "BLM"? Yeah. Yeah. It's easy to talk a big game when you don't give a shite about the product in the first place. The moment it hits home, you waffle. Don't be mad at me. Be mad at yourselves for supporting all these organizations that hate you in the first place. (Hint: They all do.)

There is definitely some truth in what you are saying. But for me, this specific thing with Bud Lite, it was deeper. Gay pride et al, who cares? Doesn't bother me a bit. If a company wants to hang a rainbow flag during gay pride month, I couldn't care less. But nowadays, with all this trans stuff and the indoctrination of our kids, they picked a helluva time to pick a man, who parades around as a little girl, to get behind. It's like they were inviting this creepy, groomer type character into their fold. frick that, I had enough. And apparently many other people did too.
