i think shes a pretty interesting character. music isnt awful, like couple of her songs. Hope she tells her fans to frick off if they dont like it.

No, she is a cookie cutter pop star doing a pivot to expand her profitability. Sex sells and she is expanding her marketing value now that she is a woman.
She is just shedding a small market of fans that have body image issues to gain broader appeal to the general population.

She’s gotten a lot of love about being some great thing in music, but what’s the real appeal to her sound?

She is significantly more talented than a lot of pop stars. She found a unique sound and voice and ran with it. She at least tries to be interesting and unique. I don't mind it at all.
She's not Olivia Rodrigo or some dreck like that.
