I'm listening to classic rock. This list is garbage.

1998?
I have listened to half of that top ten in the last 48 hours.
Especially Intergalactic and Closing Time.
Two of my favorite songs ever.

Fuel and The Verve.
Urban Hymns is a criminally underrated album with phenomenal B side tracks.

Billboard top 40 from July 1998. What are you jamming to?
Oof. Based on that list I was probably entering the phase of wondering if the era of good music was over.

Yeah it was, although they were huge in Europe. Back then I thought Bittersweet Symphony was overplayed so I never really gave the rest of the album the time of day. I was wrong, it’s a great album.

I would go so far as to say Bittersweet Symphony was toward the bottom. Weeping Willow, This Time, and Lucky Man were absolute masterpieces.

One of my all-time favorites too. They should have been much bigger in America than they were.

I still remember when Intergalactic came out. Would blow the damn speakers out listening to that.
Hooch is a good one too. Totally different vibe. Could pair that with some Sublime.

Yea, this was the summer before my freshman year of college.
Same. My taste in music seems to have paused right here.
