Dave Chappell has been real preachy in his middle age too, honestly.

John d Rockefeller owned like 20% of the us currency at one point until the gov split it up and printed more money

I know people don't like what he said, but he isn't wrong to some degree, but no one ever gave a frick about the middle class.

If we can also put Burr down then I support it

Who has more in common? A 20 millionaire and a billionaire, or a 20 millionaire and someone making 50k?
One of the things they have in common is that the guy making 50k thinks that the guy with $20 million is just as greedy and undeserving as the guy with $20 billion.

Black comics roasting other blacks is pretty much the only thing left that’s still funny to me sober.
It’s the only thing left that’s completely uninhibited. There are no boundaries. They can just be funny.

Hmmm. Bill Burr won’t comment on Covid because he’s “not a doctor” but he’s happy to call for the execution of the world’s titans of business to solve wealth inequality.

Burr should be worth way more than 20M. He has been famous a really long time. He has been on a bunch of TV shows, movies, has his own cartoon and a popular podcast. He makes 6 figures per comedy show and has multiple specials on various platforms. I saw an estimate that he made 6M last year alone and he's not that popular anymore. Maybe he's really bad at business and investing, which is why he hates those that are more successful at it..

wonder if you caught this was about billionaires not millionaires
Someone slaving away to make $50k per year could make the same argument at Burr. The point was, he's a hypocritical a-hole.

I agree with the Gulf of America thing - that's some Jeff Landry Omar type empty look at me/frick you needless shite there.
other than that - I agree with many that Burr is being hypocritical and not the least bit funny or insightful with the rest of what he said.

That doesn't mean the wealthy give a frick about the middle class, but the middle class is the backbone of the country. The middle class buys the shite that makes people billionaires and pays the taxes for the lower class.

Another liberal hypocrite. Used to enjoy BB, but ever since his wife flipped off Trump at the UFC, event, he’s gotten much more Political. Not a good look and definitely not a great business move, when you alienate half the Country.

That difference is still pretty minimal when you compare 20 mil to someone worth billions
the quality of life difference between having zilch and $20M is much larger than $20M and $20B
eta: unless you're a dipshit who considers a 6th vacation home, mega yacht, private plane, and a 4th luxury car more valuable for comfort and happiness than simply having everything you'd ever need including food, housing, entertainment, etc. without having to worry about things like mounting credit card interest & living in terrible neighborhoods

If we are being honest, so have I and a lot of other people who are middle aged.
Him and Bill Burr actually write a lot of shite together. In the Bill Burr special when he is in Colorado at an outdoor venue, a lot of what he says is similar to one of Chappell's specials that came out right before it. It had similar formats, talked about similar things, but had their own spin on it.
I haven't listened to his podcast in awhile, but I was listening to it at the time and he mentioned that him and Chappell had been writing together.

Funny thing, you can wipe out the billionaires today, and the Millionaires would become the next target.

I just don’t think it’s wise to let a comedian’s joke ruin your Friday AND Saturday. Get out and enjoy that cruise ship town while the tourists are still away!
