Most of the preceding PLUS when I went to my wife's Medical Dictionary from the early 90's and noticed the definition of "Vaccine" was different from the one being promoted now. (oddly enough, I believe it changed in 2019)

Nancy calling the travel ban bigoted and inviting people to chinatown. "Essential workers" being basically everyone because they couldnt afford to actually force most people to stay home

When 95% of the people who caught the covid had two jabs of the 95% effective "vaccination."

Pretty sure there was a cash lottery drawing in Louisiana for those who got the shot. That's what made me realize this whole thing was about control of the weak minded sheeple.

Your memory is correct - it was called "Shot At A Million"

Louisiana residents who have received at least one dose of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, are eligible to enter the weekly drawings. Upon registration, residents ages 18 or older are automatically entered to win the weekly drawings for $100,000 and the grand prize of $1,000,000, and residents ages 12-17 who have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine are eligible to win one of nine $100,000 scholarships.

When my doctor, once the door to the room was closed, told me it was okay to take the mask off in his presence (when masks first became a thing), because *he* thought it was complete bullshite.

Fwiw I was getting a splinter removed.

For me it was the easily recognizable fear mongering. Disasters or the response that in any way can be related to governments tend to be downplayed to keep the population subdued, sometimes even to the point of lying. This had every branch of government even state and local in full panick mode after the initial disregarding. It was obvious they were purposely trying to scare people into doing something, ... wonder what?

January of 2020…

The cruise ship Diamond Princess.

Nothing but old people living in very tight quarters for weeks on end (two in quarantine).

The cook staff were supposedly the first infected:

quote:

A CDC study would later reveal that 15 of 20 workers who tested positive in the first week worked in food preparation, and 16 of them lived on the same deck.

In short, a worst case scenario. The VAST majority of them lived.

Here is the data from Wiki:
quote:

Of the 3,711 people on board, 712 became infected with the virus – 567 of 2,666 passengers, and 145 of 1,045 crew. Figures for total deaths vary from early to later assessments, and because of difficulties in establishing causation. As many as 14 are reported to have died from the virus, all of them older passengers

14 out of 3711 people.

Bad…yes.

An end of the world pandemic - no.

Getting chastised by family, coworkers and my doctor for not taking the jab. Funny, none of them want to talk about it now…whistling past the graveyard with that poison inside them.

All of this stupidity was being called out in real time then. Guess what, we still bent the knee to our government overlords.

No dumber than the idiots driving around alone in their vehicles wearing masks and rubber gloves.
