Walden's not that much younger than Kenilworth, and was around (but fairly new) when I was at Kenilworth Junior High from '73-'76.

Catholic and St Joe’s won’t suffer because those are the flagship schools for the Catholic diocese.

St Michael and other second tier schools? They may feel a pinch.

EBR.maps.arcgis website

That website is one truly good thing that EBR has used our tax dollars on.

I am sure BR will have a telethon to raise more taxes to squander.

The BR political elite will go TV on every liberal talk show signing “we are Baton Rouge, we are the political elite, we are the ones who need more tax dollars so let’s start giving.”

They will have a 1-800 number, and go fund me account by 9 am Monday.

Those two are complete asshats

Never thought I would see the day that someone would refer to Skip as an asshat after all that he’s done for Baton Rouge and LSU baseball. I guess in today’s hyper-partisan political world it truly is what have you done for me lately.

Unreal.

Unreal.

Skip let a friend use him for political reasons.
Sad but imho, true.

But are they? Who living in Walden or Rouzan is sending their kids to public schools? Anyone living in Louisiana leaving their kid's education up to the public school system, well..

Youre such a douche. He stepped into a political arena outside of sports. Alls fair at that point. Nothing hyper political about that.

But why the name-calling? Could you please point out where I was disrespectful?

It wont change that much. This is mostly about schools and people in “nice” BR neighborhoods send their kids private anyway

Agreed. We live across the street from Episcopal and are right outside of St George. There are plenty of people like us in BR that don't care which school district they live in

When you are already understaffed by several hundred officers, how do you do layoffs?

BRPD can’t get people to stay or come in now.

Didn’t say you have to. Just common courtesy. I’m going to go out on a limb and bet you wouldn’t dare speak to me this way if this wasn’t an anonymous message board. The name-calling is arbitrary and quite honestly, pretty trashy. Shame on you.
