accuweather forecast

Yeah, Accuweather seems to have bought in on this.

Accuweather for Austin:

12/31 - 49 High, 11 Low
01/01 - 27 High, 9 Low

Nobody else is close to this as of now.

Holy shite! Even if they are a little on the low end, that's crazy.

Now up in North LA it could be like 7-8 degrees colder...
AND, I apparently need to make plans to spend New Year's in warm and balmy Funroe.

It'll be snowing where I am in SELA

ETA: Not that I'll be home. I'm going to be in Austin for NYE. I don't see this single digit forecast anywhere. Accuweather says low on Monday in Austin is 25 degrees...

The planet is cooling.Solar activity is on a downward trend. Solar activity is the PRIMARY contributor to "climate change"

Baton Rouge:
GFS still showing roughly 56-58 hours below freezing and most of it WELL below.
This is the fourth consecutive run producing roughly the same result.

32 by 12:00 AM on 1/1 warming to 39 by 12:00 PM on 1/3 so you’d think we’d climb above 32 around 9 or 10:00 AM on the 3rd.

just like we had “no accumulation” forecasted until a day or two before.

Local weather bows to national weather service every time unless they just want to be wrong.

For the record though, WAFB>>>WBRZ lately.

A day or two? Shingeltons night weather guy was saying no accumulation until people started posting snow covered yard Picts on their Facebook page asking “what do you call this?”

1/1 - 25/5 feels like -5

Holy crap...I believe that'll be the coldest it's ever been in my lifetime.

I really don’t think it’s going to be that bad. If it were, this thread would be stickied and the subject would be in all caps.
