Not that bad anymore since Covid-19. Working remotely worked out so well many made it permanent.

Houston flooding has started. 288 closed in both direction. It’s gonna be a battle getting to the office today

Thanks to Covid I work from the House. I live in the Heights.. Office is off Fannin and Polk in downtown but I haven’t been back to the office since late March. The Inner loop luxury you don’t have to get on the Katy freeway or 610..

South Houston from League City through southwest Houston is getting hammered. Brays bayou is Already over it’s banks in some areas

Can confirm this! I looked outside when I woke up and it was easy to tell that Clear Lake is a good bit higher this morning than it was yesterday.

Southwest Houston West U, Bellaire, and Meyerland are starting to have major street flooding. Getting to work this morning was a little tricky.

Not in my area. It's drizzled and rained off and on but not nearly a few inches worth

And now we have sunshine! Water is not draining at all. Best I can tell, the surface water levels are the same as the lake right now.

We got pounded all day yesterday along the HWY 6 corridor in Fort bend. Relentless. Thankfully this morning we have a lucky reprieve as we are sitting in a dry pocket for a couple of hours. Still have about 30 more hours of this shite to deal with tho before we start drying up.

Doesn't look like it's center has moved since I last checked at 6am, if anything it may have backed up some, might be headed back to the gulf. Houston and south of there will have some issues before it clears out I'm sure. I saw 58 mph winds when it made it onshore around Matagorda last night, most of the area down there is under water, which isn't unusual for down there.

Yeah for the next 24 hours it's basically sitting on top of Houston.

Teddy is about 200 miles south of this buoy that is located at 42.5N 64.0W. Will be interesting as it gets closer.

The Katy Freeway eastbound is an absolute parking lot. Just looked out my window. Must be flooding at the white oak bayou -Buffalo bayou junction
