The World Wide Web is what came around in the early 90's.
Yes, and that's the best technology from the 90's, not 80's.

Fax machine was a game changer. Revolutionized industry
Fax machine as we know it using telephone lines were first sold by Xerox in the mid 1960s, my dad had one in the late 60s, by the 70s many manufacturers were selling them, we had several a the bank I worked at in 1976. Fax machines used with radio date back to the 1950s.

The bore, stroke, and cylinder head design of this motor was used in countless Honda/Acura motors over the next 30 years. The bike was a testing platform.
It was also Honda's most powerful single cylinder 4stroke off-road engine for the next 20 years.

The only thing listed in this thread that was actually invented in the 80's was the cell phone.
Home computers & video games are from the 70's. microwaves & faxes are from the 50's or 60's.
The Speak & Spell was from the 70's because I had one in 75-ish.

CDS/Compact disks, developed by Philips and Sony released in 1982, introduced digital music for the first time, and was the first method to provide a music source in your car equal to what you had in your home, got my first player around 193, still my favorite source of music today.

Atari 2600 was making video games mainstream well before Nintendo.
This. I had one when they first came out and played the ever-loving shite out of it. I was a beast at the tank battle game that allowed shots to ricochet.

See the commercial and the idea of a remote control toy that could go on land and water was mind blowing. I asked for one, one christmas and that thing was a total piece of shite.
That's good to hear. I always dreamed of owning that thing and never got one.
