List could easily be titled “Value Attached to Education”

There's not a real correlation
La spends more per student than many. Alaska spends third most, and gets little for it
God studients make good schools
How does one become a good student without good schools? Alaska is 3rd on education spending but I'm guessing they have a lot of costs other states don't have. A very spread out population and not a lot of people in general. Transportation costs are probably high comparatively, and potentially a higher number of schools compared to states with similar populations because the state is so huge.

Why is it that no matter how much money is dumped in to "bad" schools, the students never get any better?
It's almost like money isn't the issue.

Stupid list. Is it better to get a sociology degree from Harvard or a MD from LSU?
While your point may sound logical on its face if one is solely interested in money then a Sociology degree from Harvard usually has more upside. Pretty much anyone that has solid grades from Harvard and other elites can go hunting for elephants on Wall Street if they so choose for example.

How does Alabama rank 47 in higher education with three schools like UA, UAB, and Auburn?

Why do you capitalize words that don't need to be?

Demographics are not limited to race
Socioeconomic position is a great indicator for chances at success. Summary, "don't be poor." It doesn't matter your race, if you're poor, you will have a lot harder time at life in general than others who are not.

Natives. They also have a high rate of sexual assault and violence.
They're also the reason we spend so much per student with crappy results.
