Boiling a lot of bugs this weekend for my nephew's graduation. To be proactive and in anticipation of my nagging wife and the in-laws, what's the best soap or product to remove the crawfish smell from hands? Personally, I've always just rubbed a bunch of lemons together and then whatever regular soap is availabe, but do any of y'all have any good tips or suggestions?

Use bleach and then dawn.

You could always be the limp-wristed guy that wears gloves to eat them.

Wear some good latex gloves. Problem solved.

Pour gas all over your hands. The crawfish smell will disappear.
I promise.

Smash up regular saltine crackers to a powder almost and rub your hands together, then rinse with regular water.

This. Removes the odor and also the seasoning from your hand

Dawn concentrate dish soap. I keep a spray bottle of bleach under my cabinet and wash/rinse a few times after fishing all day with that combo. Seems to work well.
I’ve seen people eat crawfish and crab legs with exam gloves. maybe that’s an option as well if the guests are super hoity-toity.

Use ball sweat. Just rub your C and Bs with your crawfish hands and you won't give a frick about how your hands smell anymore.

crumble up a few saltine crackers in your hands then wash them with any hand soap

Wait…these grown arse adults haven’t figured out their own hand washing solution and just bitch at a smell that they have known is associated with crawfish??
Screw them!
Also, please post a photo of said wife to determine the level of nagging that is to be tolerated

You just know someone has bought this thing to try putting it in their butt. I bet it makes that yearly list of "Weird things removed from a butt" eventually.

Grubbie Scribble works great. Alternately you can use a little bit of tide powder and some dawn. Not too much though that shite will give you dish pan hands.

That’s the way I was taught to do it.

Put any regular liquid soap in your, rub them together a little bit, then while they still soapy put a tablespoon or so of salt. Rub them together really well with the soap and all the smell will go away, rinse well and dry.

Why do you care of anyone wears gloves to eat crawfish? I've been using them for years. No smell, no crud under my nails, rip them off and done. Maybe you have some sort of manhood issue because it's stupid to care if other men or women wear gloves to eat crawfish. You're just not man enough to do it.
