Another suggestion if you want analog, is the Citizen eco-drive Promaster Tough series - titanium case sapphire crystal and you can get it in a perpetual calendar version, which is the one I have.

Excellent recommendation. I have this model and absolutely love it. I wear it as my weekend work outdoors watch, and it’s indestructible. And it looks just as good worn with a tux!

Citizen BN0211-50E

Victirinox INOX is excellent also, but maybe to big/heavy for some.

Sorry about the size of these pictures, I don’t know what I’m doing.

An automatic Seiko diver if you don't fancy a Gshock.

They are bulletproof and very inexpensive. "Poor Mans' Rolex"

One notch up is the Prospex line. Little more and a little nicer.

Yep, have a solar powered G Shock for the last decade or so. Still keeps ticking.

Same. This 20 yo Pathfinder is a titanium. I like the tenp, barometer etc. Of course it has every way to time to the mili. Solar under a lamp no less. Even provides elevation gain based on sea level with every step. Like I needed that but for a 2001 watch that's pretty cool.

Basically still looks like this

I know you said no Casios, but this thing has been a tank for me when I'm going to be doing something that would cause too much abuse for my automatics.

Seiko SKX

Severak people have mentioned the SKX and for many years it was THE go-to budget ISO dive watch but I can't really recommend it now that it is discontinued unless you are a watch geek that just has to have one in your colection. The few you can find new now are trading at well over twice what they sold for a couple of years ago before they were discontinued. For the price you can get a dive watch from the Prospex line which is an objectively better watch it just won't be the "legendary" SKX.

That Marathon site has this Navigator, so strange that the case is not symmetrical. Don’t think I’ve ever seen such a thing.

I usually rocked the timex ironman. I would get an average of 3 years out of them due to my rough nature. Replaced it with the cheapest 15.00 basic digital watch on amazon. Love it so far. Its slim I dont always have to take it off while teching. Ive been super rough with it so far.

Been looking for one to replace it but its so basic. I cant find anything yet.

Timex Ironman

I bought two of these in 2 years. Its a cheapo as far as watches go (~$50) but I like the way it looks and I’m a pseudo athlete who likes to time shite.

My complaint is I washed the first one and it got water inside of it and went 88:88 on me.

Seems like bullshite for something named Ironman but hey it’s $50.

Second one is going strong.

I wear something called a Vostok Commander most days. It's pretty tough.

Every 5 years I purchase a Timex Ironman for under $50. It does what I want and serves as my alarm every morning. I like to keep things simple and I have no complaints with Timex.

I’ve had my Suunto watch for 10+ years and haven’t had a problem. I beat the shite out of it and have only had to change the battery.
