The conservative haven of Collin county has higher property tax rates than liberal Dallas county.

We can thank New Orleans for this.

Why would it be renamed? It can still be Jackson Square for Rev Jessie, pre white Michael, etc etc.

Yep. Went out with a friend (conservative) last night who just lived the past decade in Newport Beach. She said everyone is conservative there.

Another friend is from Napa. Same deal. Living in wine country would be awesome.

I hope the hipsters successfully rename it ironically as Tito Jackson Square

A moonwalk inspired statue might be just the thing to help me get over Andrew’s statue

Every highly desirable place to live will have liberals

Best to just accept it and deal with it

Desirable can mean way different things.

That depends on what you define as "desirable"

I have no desire to live in any of the major urban areas of this country for a myriad of reasons.

More in demand housing wise, yeah.

Not everyone wants the city life though so desirable is subjective.

If I move out of the city, it’ll be to something rural/on a lake with a bit of land. That’s desirable af.

But yeah you can still live in rural Alabama or something

I grew up in rural Iowa; trust me, the SJW noise is a far better reality.

Both Dakotas.

Minus the natives who get pissy about pipelines and what not.

Also, upstate NY. Anywhere.
