Same. I wish we got trick or treaters, but we never do.
My kid is mostly grown, but we have a few little kids in one of the houses, I was thinking about leaving them a little candy bag or something. the rest of the year I'm glad its quiet though.

Kenilworth is a fun, safe option. There are plenty of trick or treaters here that don’t live in the neighborhood.

Bring them back the night of the luminaries (usually the Sunday evening before Christmas). Santa is usually out on Kenilworth Parkway handing out candy canes and some residents go all out with lights and decorations.

there are to many kids running around having fun that shouldn’t be worried about some lazy f’er hitting them

Making sure kids have a safe and fun Halloween should be everyone's only concern. People worried about kids from other neighborhoods and going so far as having two types of candy is just pathetic. FFS, just turn your light off if you're that miserable.

If you ring our doorbell this Thursday, you're getting a cheerful answer and the good stuff. If you look too old to be Trick-or-Treating, I'll still give you candy. It's not the end of the world and they could be doing far worse things than that.

When I was growing up most of our group of friends lived in Woodgate, Woodstone, and University Acres. We hit all three. But back then parents weren’t overly cautious and we were able to pass through from neighborhood to neighborhood on our bikes without issue. We had some major hauls

Capital Heights Street is always busy, but the side streets are not. This year, the neighborhood association is closing Capital Heights between ingleside and glenmore, and inviting those who don't see much traffic to set up a station on the side of the street for that block, and Bee Nice is having a Bee Witched yard, with a bunch of witches giving a bunch of candy.
