If in NOLA, Jos A Banks, Perlis, or Brooks Brothers. 100% wool.

Be prepared to swap buttons if you find a blazer you like in terms of fit and material.

One of my favorite blazers I bought years ago had horrible looking buttons. A tailor was able to replace them easily.

Go to Belk for anything men’s dress clothes related. Good brands. Cheap. It’s the new Stein Mart.

private Jet to Italy and get a nice bespoke one, then fly on over to Hong Kong for a shirt.

If your first stop isn’t Sam’s you’re doing it wrong, your pilot would know this. Swing by watchbox to finish off the look.

You need a copy of that to send in for OT Post of the year 2023.

Or an avatar/sig pic.

For younger relatively in shape guys, suit supply is a good option

Just go get a decent one that’s a little big and bring it to a tailor.

Just go to a decent men's store and ask a nice salesperson to help you, then once you've found the one that works best, have them tailor it for you. Seriously, don't skip that last bit.

This is honestly the best advice. A no-name brand jacket that has been tailored will look better than a name brand one off the shelf 90% of the time. Especially if your fat.

You aren't fat, are you?

To be specific, you want the 1818, not the outlet version

They all fit differently ….even among the same brand. As the others say, just go to anyplace that has men’s clothing and start trying them on. I only wear mine a couple of times per year, so I got one that works just fine from men’s warehouse.

I got a navy Hart Shaffner and Marx from Dillards for $200 a while back. 100% wool with brass buttons.
