Ours was 700, and why would I care if my dog is recognized by a dog association if I'm not showing her?

This is like asking who the prettiest woman is, or the best color. There's no such thing as the best opinion.

You know they were all designer mongrels once upon a time.

I'm not looking to breed and sell and don't care so much about a 'recognized' breed.

The best dog breed will vary based upon what you want out of your dog. But for me, it's the Doberman Pinscher.

Followed by Catahoula and Rhodesian Ridgeback.

I have a 6 month old bullmastiff puppy and she is awesome...but she is stubborn, sheds like crazy, and occasionally slings drool everywhere...other than she's great! haha

Just naming breed is useless.

Op should insist upon reason and one story example.

Love the cat attack.

I find it bizarre that people adopt dogs. I raised mine. Trained.

Had collies. They were combo companion and security.
Story. Man brings product to the door.
I am 14. Dog flies at interior glass door. After dog is put behind bars and delivery accomplished I ask mom why this collie is not tamed but is allowed to act so. "I want them like that. I am home with kids. Pilot husband away.
Want everyone to fear entry."

Pyres are cool. But the male same sex dog aggression comes on hard around two.
