re: Best and worst experience in Tigerland?

Best - first time in a bar at 15 with a fake ID i made using my school library’s copier. I think it was Senor Frog’s.

Worst - having to sit outside in the car while my friends got to party another time after a bouncer made me take the card out of my wallet. It only worked if it was behind the clear plastic and they didn’t see i had a piece of paper glued over the birth date part.

I wouldn't even know where to start.

I did see Brittany Spears at Sports one night

I honestly had much higher expectations for this thread.

Best: 2006 Sweet Sixteen LSU beats Duke when they had Tyrus Thomas and Big Baby. However, the tip-off time lined up at exactly the same time a Fred's Invitational started so the whole game the packed bar was chugging free drinks. Just absolute wildness.

Worst: Happened upon a few handfuls of benzos and was tossing them out to friends like candy at Fred's one night. Around midnight, after drinking for hours upon end and eating those delicious candies, I look outside to see a few friends who worked there getting just absolutely manhandled by some local residents in the parking lot.

A couple of my buddies and I go outside to not get into the fight, but try and drag our employee friends out from getting the everliving shite kicked out of them.

About 30 seconds into it, one of my buddies who is literally getting his head bounced off the pavement like a pogo stick is looking me in the eyes while simultaneously screaming, "he is biting you!" over and over. In my lucid, intoxicated state, I look down and my wrist is in one of the local's pitbull teeth grips.

I get my arm out, can see my bone through the blood and as I'm snapping back to reality, notice that this gentleman's forearm tattoos read 'Angola' on one arm, and 'Boy' on the other.

Went to the hospital immediately to get that patched up and run some tests. Still have the scar. Worst experience by far.

Worst: With group of friends drinking screwdrivers at Fred's in late '80s. Got totally blacked out wasted and woke up with an orange stripe about 4" wide from my chest to my ankle. Found out later that every time I hit the head they would throw an extra shot or two of vodka in my drink.

Best: Too many to count.

A couple of my friends and I from back home went to LSU out of high school, we got in a scrap with some frat stars one night in Tigerland and dealt knuckles.

It was three of us against five or six and we stunned em good, two were laid out and the others had enough.

One of them asked what fraternity we were from and my boy says "we ain't no fraternity were a fricking gang".

Me also , zachary's was across the street and I knew the bartenders . Also knew the owner of sports . Freds had $ 1 stolis and fresh squeezed orange juice.

Best: got laid
Worst: didn’t get laid

I watched one of the Sports Illustrated managers pass out, piss and puke all over my drum rug after a gig one night. I rolled it up and threw it in the dumpster..

Best was pissing in the urinal at Sports as a chick squatted and pissed in said urinal right next to me...

I got to watch a Middle Eastern dude douche himself up with a bottle of Brute from the shelf at the 7-11 and put in back on the shelf when he was done.

My buddy Rickey would hide at the car wash and jump out at people and spray them down with the high pressure wash guns when they walked back to their apartment after being at Sports and Fred's.

Oh yeah, I got to see Nakita Wilson, of LSU basketball fame, get into a fight at Sports on a Thursday night. He starked some dude out and proceeded to start pouncing on him. It made the local BR news.
