I love the KO2s, have had multiple sets on multiple vehicles and have never been disappointed

Just put some on my truck Tuesday. Best looking tire I’ve seen. Ride isn’t bad either

The last two sets of tires I’ve purchased:
KO2s E-load which are much better than the “DT” D-load I’ve previously owned.
Falken Wildpeak MTs c-load. They came on my Rubicon from the factory. They were fantastic so I bought them as replacements. They don’t come in many sizes, but great looking and a very livable MT

Latest set is sumitomo encounter ATs. These have held up incredibly well and they have a good look.
over one year in and they look barely used with at least 12k miles. This is on a 2500 pulling loaded trailers regularly.

Sounds like you need a set of official baw tires. Super swamper boggers should suit your needs well.
ETA: in all seriousness BFG KO2s are good tires. Low road noise, good wear, and are more than adequate for the average off road applications.

I got an insane amount of life out of my wrangler duratrac’s that came factory. I just replaced them and I wanted to go a little larger and ended up landing on the KO3’s. As much as I loved the duratrac’s, they’re not in the same ballpark as the KO3’s. I may be set on the KO3’s for life.

Same. Fantastic tire.
KO2's also are great

I got a new Land Cruiser two months ago that came with mid-grade Michelin tires that were obviously made for highway use. Got new KO3's 4 weeks ago and much better tread for off road and mountain/snow driving. I believe BFG has quit producing KO2's with the advent of the KO3's, and some tire sizes are still not available at this time.

BFG KO are the gold standard.
^^ This ^^
Unless you’re in the shite all day everyday, BFG’s are like all the benefits of a street tire with the versatility to go off road and likely not require assistance getting out.
If you’re going to be in the mud all day long, get the Mud Grapplers and a pair of ear plugs. They are loud as hell but you can’t hardly get stuck. (When you do you’ll need severe assistance - trust me)
I’ve had every make/brand mentioned here. BFG’s are the way to go.

Goodyear Duratracs have been my favorite. They look more aggressive but act more like an all-terrain. I got 60k out of a set.

Same - Really like these

KO2s are not what they once were, I used be a die hard KO2 guy, now they’re not worth the money.
Been running the Goodyears with Kevlar recently, so far so good.

I wouldn’t take a set if they were given to me. I’ve bought three sets in my life of Cooper tires. In all three sets there was one tire that wouldn’t balance. Cooper would never replace it. One of the sets wore out in 35,000 miles. It was over a decade ago that I bought my last set, but never again.

I have over 80k miles on the Nitto Ridge grapplers on my jeep with plenty of tread left and these are much truer to size than the BFG tires. Great tires. Might try the recon grappler next though.

Seems the consensus is KO2/KO3.
I have read multiple outside reviews for ridge grapplers sucking in the rain.
Anyone have the recon grapplers and have issues in the rain?

I have Michelin LTX A/T2s and I love them. They don't look as cool as KO2s and KO2s are great tires, but I'm a Michelin loyalist. My Michelin's are probably slightly less effective off-road, but I like them more on road in the rain.

I had Toyo AT3’s, followed by Ridge Grapplers. Both were quiet until they hit 50% on tread and then got increasingly annoyingly loud.
When I put the Falken Wildpeak AT’s on it was super quiet again. I’m curious how long they will stay that way.
Chevy 3500 HC SRW long bed. Tires are 35x12.5

I literally live in one of the rainiest parts of the country and I have had no problems.

I have Toyo ATIII's and I am very happy with the look and performance.
