Didn’t say it wasn’t in certain parts, but when you pull a Joe Biden Press Strategy “don’t believe your lying eyes” you look like morons and fear mongers

Texas coast landfalls are the worst. Any shift in the gulf can be hundreds of miles up or down the coast.

I'll letcha know... I'm 8 miles outside Longview, in Upshur county . But my hunch is just a bunch of rain and maybe 20 mph winds.

Someone will have to do me a solid as my power is out and I can barely get my post through without attachments.

Checking in from Sienna. Had winds up to 71 on my weather station in the yard. Tornado warning at 4:00 woke me up.

I've got a side fence down, and a tree that's looking sketchy.

Still got power in the heights. Probably got 5-6’ of water at the bay house in surfside. These guys have been posting some good videos and have a live feed down there.

if there is a fire - e are getting the frick out of the house for sure - no worries there. finally fell asleep at 3 or shortly after at 86 - woke at 5 to 85, and went back to work.

already left a message for the AC guys to call me - will most likely go get a portable AC unit at some point today as a temp solution - ill figure a way to rig it somehow

Anyone have info on power or flooding in the area immediately around the Texas Medical Center? Specifically if Braes Bayou is looking sketchy?

Braes Bayou has not crested yet… But it could get dicey if rain continues for the next 4+ hours
